Support the Friends Through the Book Sales!
Throughout the year, community members donate their new and gently used books to the Friends in support of the Library. Some of these books go directly to the Library's shelves; the rest are sold at our Spring and Fall book sales. In December, during Millbury's Chain-of-Lights Festival, the Friends host a Children's Book Sale.
Donations
Donations are accepted at the front desk of the library throughout the year, unless there is a request from the Friends to put a hold on book donations so that the Friends can catch up on organizing the high volume of books generously donated by the Community. If there is a hold on book donations, it will be posted on the entrance doors to the Library.
We welcome the following donations:
- All-Catagories of books in fair-excellent condition
- Children's and Young Adult books
- Videos Appropriate for All Ages
- Music CDs/DVDs Appropriate for All Ages
We do not accept:
- Water-Damaged or Moldy Books
- Reader's Digest Condensed Books
- Textbooks
- Encyclopedias
- Older Computer Books
- Magazines
- Toys, Stuffed Animals
- Office Supplies
